Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5, Australian Air Force B8392 flown by Lt Frank Currie and RFC A8396 flown by Captain William Avery "Billy" Bishops in 1917.For CFS1 and CFS2
=====================================================================
Aircraft No. B8392 was flown by Lieutenant Frank Currie . Lieutenant Francis Thomas Currie served in the Australian Flying Corps, having enlisted for the Australian Imperial Air Force on the 25th of September 1916 until the 12th of July 1919 when he returned to Australia. B8392 as shown with flight marking of "1" was most likely from B Flight.

The aircraft No. A8936 was flown by Capt. William "Billy" Bishop, No. 60 Sqdn., RFC, 1917. Captain William Avery "Billy" Bishop, a Canadian, served with B Flight of No. 60 Sqdn, RFC. In 1917 he went on to command No. 85 Sqdn. (using S.E.5as) and ended the war with 72 confirmed victories. He is the second-highest ace among British and Commonwealth fliers. This model shows Bishop's S.E.5 as it looked during the early summer of 1917. The blue markings on the nose and tail indicate B Flight of No. 60 Squadron

The Aircraft:
-------------
The S.E.5 and its successor, the S.E.5a, rank among the very
best Allied fighters of World War I. Introduced in May 1917,
about the same time as the famous Sopwith F.1 Camel, the S.E.5
was fast and rugged. Although it did not have the agility
of the Camel, it served as a steady gun platform. Several
of the most famous British and Commonwealth fliers achieved
their successes in the S.E.5, including Albert Ball, Edward
Mannock and James McCudden.

Installation:
-------------
Unzip "Se5 Nr1.zip" into a temporary file and move the "Se5 Nr1" folder into the main CFS1 aircraft directory.
